Toy Story 5 is an upcoming 2026 American computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It is the fifth installment in Pixar's Toy Story series and the sequel to 2019's Toy Story 4 and 2020's New Toy Story. It is directed by Josh Cooley (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Andrew Stanton (who had co-written the first three films) and Stephany Folsom; the three also conceived the story alongside John Lasseter (director of the first two installments in the franchise), Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, Valerie LaPointe, and Martin Hynes. The film stars the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Ben Burtt, Annie Potts, Joan Cusack, Jerome Ranft, Andrew Stanton, Dave Foley, Nick Kroll, Craig T. Nelson, Hayden Rolence, Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Edward Asner, Jacob Haver, Bob Peterson, Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Patton Oswalt, Lou Romano Jamie Foxx, Anthony Gonzalez, Richard Kind and others who joined the cast.

The film will be released on June 16th, 2023.
